TEXAMATIC 7045E

DESCRIPTION

Red-colored TEXAMATIC 7045E oil is a high performance, multipurpose, wide temperature range, highly shear stable anti-wear automatic transmission fluid (ATF). Friction modified fluid, consistent with (obsolete) DEXRON®-IIIG requirements.

TEXAMATIC 7045E is produced from high-quality solvent-refined mineral oil and a special additive package ensure, among other functional qualities, appropriate friction performance.

BENEFITS

TEXAMATIC 7045E Shear stable viscosity index improver resists break down under high shear conditions found in modern transmissions, ensuring that the oil viscosity and film thickness continue to protect the moving components. EP additive minimizes wear of transmission parts under all service conditions. Oxidation inhibitors, combined with highly refined basestocks, provide a level of oxidation resistance and thermal stability which prevents acid build up, oil thickening, and the formation of gum, varnish and sludge. Combination of carefully blended friction modifiers, base oil viscosity and shear stable viscosity index improvers provides optimum frictional characteristics, are consistent with (obsolete) DEXRON®-IIIG requirements.

APPLICATION

TEXAMATIC 7045E oil is recommended for filling and refilling automatic transmissions in passenger vehicles and light General Motors trucks fitted with automatic transmission with the recommended use of Dexron IIIG (GM 6417-M). It meets Ford's M2C 138-CJ or M2C 166-H technical requirements and conforms to Ford Mercon specification. However, it should be noted that Mercon V constitutes a separate specification and Texamatic 7045E is not recommended for such applications.

The use of Texamatic 7045E oil is recommended for Allison transmissions which require C-4 quality and Caterpillar transmissions for TO-2 specification oils.

TEXAMATIC 7045E may also be used as hydraulic oil (whose grade is similar to ISO VG 32) with multipurpose, wide temperature range, highly shear stable anti-wear performance which allows a variety of automotive, industrial and marine applications.

Texamatic 7045E is not suitable for applications which require the use of oils which meet Ford M2C33-F/G standard.Texamatic 7045E fulfils ASTM D2822 standard requirements and may be used in hydraulic installations employing Vickers, Sunstrand and Denison (HF-O) pumps. pan>
